Well worth the 3+ hrs drives based on PCA members recommendation for my 993 alternator. instead of getting an unknown history reman-unit. Both Chuck and Bart are best in the business in the entire northeast.

These guys went above and beyond for my Dad and I. His truck stopped dead the parking lot and it was right at closing time. They came out and diagnosed a loose ground and fixed it for free. It's good to know there are still people like this!

Called these guys the moment I figured it was my alternator that went on my corvette. With just couple of questions, these knowledgeable guys knew what the problem was on my alternator without even seeing it. They told me I could take it off (they also told me how to) and get it to them straight away. Turns out my alternator was fried and required a whole complete rebuild. They had it done in two days, charged me a much better price than it I had bought one new and I knew it would be much better than a new one because it was rebuilt by these guys. Slapped it in and it works beautifully. The people here are extremely knowledgeable and it’s incredibly reassuring knowing if I have any issues, this place is nearby.

Wow, could not ask for anymore. I had a 53 year old French starter that was basically destroyed. The boys at Lancaster starter stripped it down, did a full rebuild, and charged me a very reasonable price. They saved me a ton of money and aggravation. I shipped the starter UPS and it was back to me, ready to use, in less than 10 days. Amazing! highly recommend.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE FIVE STAR SERVICE If you are looking for a friendly, professional and motivated shop- this is it! Bart, Chuck and their team are technologically knowledgeable, courteous and genuinely appreciate their clients! Family owned shop in business for a very long time. We had brought them a 26 year old Bosch alternator from a European version BMW M5. Bart had assured me that even-though there were certain technical differences in parts compared to the USA versions- that they had access to their own extensive parts inventory both in house and from their vendors. This unit was disassembled immediately which shows how serious this shop is about turnaround time! Along with an upgrade for increased output and a modification to allow for a current version rectifier being used, the components were cleaned in a sonic tank and reassembled BETTER THAN NEW! We received excellent communication throughout the process along with photos! This facility was clean and well organized.
